Your week in Brazil

Get ready to use your chair time.
Pre-course preparation, an individual experience assessment and an equipment/workflow orientation. Arrive the day before clinical training begins.
Build the foundation.
Clinical orientation, case planning and your first supervised procedures. Establish a controlled sequence from setup to suturing.
Repeat with intention.
Continue appropriate live-patient cases. Use direct feedback to improve positioning, instrument handling and the flow of the procedure.
Connect the plan to the anatomy.
Work through a suitable mix of cases. Discuss the reasons for guided or freehand placement and the decisions made during surgery.
Strengthen your judgment.
Further supervised surgery, case-selection discussions and recognition of situations that require a change of plan or a more experienced operator.
Finish with a plan for home.
Complete scheduled clinical work, review your placement log and feedback, and map your first steps with six months of DIA support.
Every clinical day: case briefing → supervised surgery → documented feedback → group debrief.

Is this suitable if I have never placed an implant?
Yes. This is the beginner programme for qualified dentists starting implant surgery. Preparation, case selection and supervision are central. Your individual clinical role still requires review and approval.
Will I actually operate, or mostly observe?
The programme commitment is a minimum of 30 implants personally placed under supervision by each approved clinical participant. Cases you observe or assist do not count toward that minimum. You also learn through the group’s debriefs.
Where and when does the course take place?
In Brazil. The city, clinic and dates have not yet been finalized. They will be confirmed before enrollment opens. Waitlist members will receive those details before deciding whether to proceed.
Who will teach the programme?
DIA’s founder will lead the programme. Additional faculty and the host clinical team are being arranged. The confirmed instructor profiles, clinical supervision arrangements and venue will be shared before enrollment.
Can an internationally licensed dentist treat patients?
A course place alone does not authorize patient treatment. Participation will depend on your professional documents, applicable Brazilian requirements, host-clinic approval and appropriate insurance. These arrangements are still being finalized. We are only accepting waitlist enquiries at this stage.
What happens if I do not reach 30 placements?
If you complete the clinical programme and finish below 30 placements, DIA will offer a further available cohort at no additional course fee. Travel, accommodation, meals and transfers for that return visit are separate. Patient needs and safety take priority over the count.
Are accommodation, food and transfers included?
Yes: six nights’ accommodation, breakfast/lunch/dinner on the five training days, and transport between the accommodation and clinic. Flights, airport transfers, visas, insurance and personal expenses are separate. Details will be provided with the confirmed programme.
What support do I get when I return home?
Six months of mentorship for planning and implementation, reviews of your first 10 suitable home cases during that period, and the equipment/workflow blueprint. Remote case review is educational support and does not transfer responsibility for patient care.
What happens after the six included months?
You can choose to continue DIA membership at $89 USD per month. There is no automatic enrollment or renewal. The included mentorship and 10-review package last six months; any further clinical support will be described in the renewal offer before you subscribe.
Does membership guarantee patients or reference-clinic status?
No. DIA is developing patient-education content and a member-clinic referral pathway. Listings and reference-clinic status require professional verification and DIA standards. Referral availability depends on the network launch, location and patient fit; patient volume and revenue are not guaranteed.
Will I receive accredited CE credits?
No accredited CE-hour claim is currently made for this programme. Any confirmed accreditation or certificate arrangements will be provided in the enrollment information. Course participation does not confer a specialist title or a license to practise.
Does joining the waitlist commit me to anything?
